- Managing Agent title was equivalent to that of Chief Executive Officer.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of a $680 Million failed and seized savings and loan association.
- Managed ongoing business activities of an operational multi-branch savings and loan.
- Responsibility and authority to perform Receiver and Conservator duties for institution on behalf of the US government.
- Responsible for managing loan servicing activities and transfer of one billion dollar loan servicing portfolio. Loans were in 34 separate Real Estate Mortgage Investment Conduit (“REMIC”) pools.
- Responsible for the final accounting of funds spent and funds recovered for the US Treasury.
- Managed staff of 320 through eight direct reports.
- Responsible for discovery and disposition of assets.
- Managed problem resolution and customer service issues including myriad press and Congressional inquiries.

Wrote script for training video regarding federal Flood Insurance coverage requirements. Target audience: banks, credit unions and mortgage bankers.
Hired by American Bankers Association (“ABA”) to present nationwide training to Bank of America staff to support then banks’ loan operations reengineering project.
Wrote and delivered a two and one-half day training program to newly hired sub-prime loan originators. Material included mortgage banking origination, loan
pricing, secondary marketing, underwriting, compliance, disclosures and loan packaging.
Taught Real Estate License preparation for a private real estate sales company.
Researched, wrote and delivered a three-day course on loan origination and loan product knowledge for San Diego Credit Union.
Taught four-day course to credit union personnel throughout California to enable them to package loans for possible sale to the secondary market. Material included origination, processing, information verification, basic underwriting and preparation of loan documents.
